I finished my prototype gun display case -- came out pretty good considering it was made from cheap/brittle particle board -- see photos below. It was a good exercise -- albeit overkill for a cheap prototype gun display case for the BB Guns in the garage -- successfully testing my new shop equipment and my rusty woodworking skills/techniques.
